Another addition to the Mister Devious Portfolio.
This is from the third set taken on a day where a scavenger derailed our shoot in an abandoned theater and where thunder clouds aborted a shoot in a swimming pool. She was always one of my favorite means to mutate art into porn and visa versa.The lines were never clearly drawn with her and amazing things happened in camera as a result.
So another gallery of images is up. I use gallery loosely as there’s one photo in there right now. More are to come as I work through the photos.

The Mister Devious portfolio has been updated again.
This series of photos with Courtney Crave has always reminded me of certain ghost photos, namely the famous Tulip Staircase photo and to a lesser extent Brown Lady of Raynham Hall photo.
My favorite has been, and probably always will be the Tulip Staircase, which is where the title of this series get’s it’s name. The original Tulip photo always bothered me. Not because there’s supposedly a ghost in it, but because I couldn’t reconcile the perspective, the shapes, distortions and light. It’s all awkward and strange, clearly a hoax, but so compositionally bizarre that it’s stuck with me for nearly forty years.
In response, I give the staircase a nude woman. Ha!
A new portfolio is in the works called Deviations & Perversions.
Don’t let the title mislead you, especially considering my oeuvre*. These are shots that generally don’t fit with the context of other projects or series. These are thoughts, explorations, a photo sketchbook of meanderings. Most of the time, my work develops out of explorations like these. So, for now, these are explorations that haven’t led anywhere just yet.
I’m being very grandiose about a portfolio that has just one image in it. It’ll grow, though. It’ll grow.
* Fuck. I hate using words like that, but it lets me get to the point quicker. So, yay, I’m a hypocrite again.

Someday I’ll discuss why I use broken Latin for the titles of these photos. But I can’t be bothered right now… This paragraph is just here to remind me that I need to do this. Not trying to alienate you, at least not with this paragraph but maybe a little with the titles.
